Asenium Consulting is seeking a Mobile Test Automation Engineer for a 16-month Brussels project. The role involves automating end-to-end mobile journeys on iOS and Android, with a Flutter-based SDK, and working 50% on-site and 50% remotely.

You will design robust automation frameworks using Appium, Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, prepare test data, run on real devices and simulators, and integrate testing into CI/CD within an Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Six years of software testing experience.
• Hands-on mobile automation across iOS and Android.
• Expertise with Appium for native, embedded, and hybrid interfaces.
• Strong Java and Selenium-based automation skills.
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Maintainable automation frameworks and reusable components.
• Testing on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Device setup, element inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and results analysis.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and TestNG.
• Ability to interpret logs and execution evidence for defects.
• Familiarity with testing standards and test design principles.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end mobile tests.
• Automate transitions between native interfaces and SDK screens.
• Translate business criteria into robust automated tests.
• Prepare test data and prerequisites for repeatable runs.
• Execute test suites on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Analyse failures and document defects with reproducible evidence.
• Differentiate application defects from test issues.
• Integrate test execution and reporting into the delivery process.
• Improve test-suite reliability and execution speed.
• Document testing approach, coverage, and limitations.
• Share knowledge with testers and developers.
• Deliver automation incrementally within Agile sprints.
