Job summary

WLG in Brussels is seeking a communications standards engineer to lead the modelling of its communications reference architecture and to help develop the technical standards behind it. You will work on ArchiMate modelling, draft and maintain standards for communications and networking, and assist in integrating HF and other beyond line of sight systems with IP-based networks.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant CIS field or equivalent.
• ArchiMate and TOGAF qualifications or comparable framework.
• At least 5 years working with military CIS technical specifications in operational settings.
• Strong project management, communication and analytical skills.
• The ability to turn complex specifications into clear, actionable guidance.
• A plus: experience with military standardisation documents, ITIL, PRINCE2 or PMP.
