Arcadis is looking for a qualified electro-mechanics/electricity engineer to support technical due diligence and maintenance audits for client projects in Brussels. The role involves evaluating electro-mechanical installations, preparing concise reports, and presenting findings to colleagues and investors.

You will collaborate with sustainability, design and engineering teams, apply NEN2767 standards where relevant, and contribute to feasibility studies for offices, logistics centers, and labs.

Qualifications

• Graduate in electro-mechanics/electricity engineering.
• Initial 1–2 years experience in technical installations audit and maintenance.
• Previous experience in a maintenance or facility management company is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. French is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with desktop applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Assist in technical due diligence for investment projects and compile risk reports.
• Research and collect relevant data for project assessments.
• Support evaluation of electro-mechanical systems (Electrical, HVAC, Fire Safety) per standards.
• Support high-level feasibility studies for assets (office, logistics, data centre, labs).

Role description

Client Focus

• In close relationship with our building fabrics surveyors, participate in technical due diligence efforts on behalf of investment companies, collaborating, digging deep, and creating a report for the investors to outline technical investment risks.
• Carry out research to identify and collect relevant data and information.
• Support the assessment of technical equipment (Elec, HVAC, Fire Safety…) according to the NEN2767 standard.
• Support high-level feasibility study for various kind of assets (office, logistics, data centre, labs…).
• Deliver, discuss, and present the outcomes to colleagues, clients and third parties.

Team Work

• Further develop understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis and of client businesses to enable personal performance improvement and career development.
• Proactively look for opportunities to contribute to project and team activities.
• Work closely with the consultants, architects and engineers of the sustainability and design & engineering teams to support the development of joint proposals.
• Provide value-adding technical advisory support to projects.
