Drees & Sommer Belgium is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to drive site execution for a major semiconductor project in Belgium. You will lead plumbing and fire protection works, coordinate with the international project team, and ensure safety, quality and timely installation of essential building services.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven construction management experience on large industrial projects.
• Experience overseeing MEP, Plumbing and Fire Protection installations during construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge of contractor management, sequencing, QA, health & safety, commissioning processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic project.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French would be an advantage.

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities for Plumbing and Fire Protection systems throughout project execution.
• Manage contractors and monitor installation progress, quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
• Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, and process disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review construction methodologies, work packages, testing and commissioning activities, and drive issue resolution on site.
• Support project reporting, progress tracking, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication with the client and project leadership team.

For a major semiconductor project in Belgium, we are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead site execution activities with a focus on Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. Working as part of an international project team, you will ensure safe, high-quality, and timely installation of critical building services systems throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
• Proven construction management experience gained on industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life sciences, data center, or other large-scale construction projects
• Strong experience overseeing MEP, Plumbing, and Fire Protection installations during construction and commissioning phases
• Sound knowledge of contractor management, construction sequencing, quality assurance, health & safety, and commissioning processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic project environment
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French would be considered an advantage
