Job summary

The Hotel. Brussels is seeking a Meetings & Events Trainee to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end event management within a prestigious hotel. You will work closely with experienced teams to support client events and guest experiences in a dynamic environment.

The role offers university-level exposure, language use across English and French, and a housing support allowance for students living abroad, up to 750€/month.

This internship offers an exciting immersion into the world of meetings and events within our hotel. Working alongside our experienced team, you will actively contribute to the end-to-end management of client events in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.

Your Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for our clients, responding to enquiries and preparing attractive event proposals.
• Assist with contract preparation and invoicing processes, gaining valuable administrative experience.
• Help ensure an outstanding guest experience by supporting clients throughout their event journey and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Participate in weekly meetings and collaborate with the Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Front Office teams to coordinate upcoming events.

What We're Looking For

• You are comfortable communicating in both English and French with our international clientele. Knowledge of Dutch or any additional language is a strong advantage.
• You are currently studying Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Business, Event Management, or a related field, and have an internship agreement available from January 2027 for a minimum duration of 4 months (6 months is even better!).
• You are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Strong administrative and/or commercial skills are considered a major asset.

Tes missions ?

• Tu seras le premier point de contact pour nos clients, en répondant à leurs demandes et en leur proposant des offres alléchantes.
• La rédaction des contrats et la gestion de la facturation n'auront plus de secrets pour toi.
• Tu seras là pour assurer le bien-être de nos clients pendant leur séjour, en veillant à leur entière satisfaction.
• En participant aux réunions hebdomadaires, tu auras l'occasion de collaborer avec les équipes de restauration, de cuisine et de réception pour planifier les événements à venir.

Profil Recherché

• Tu jongles entre l'anglais et le français pour t’adresser avec aisance à notre clientèle internationale. Si tu parles néerlandais ou toute autre langue, c'est un plus !
• Etudiant.e en hôtellerie, Relations Publiques, Commerce ou Gestion d'événements, tu disposes d’une convention de stage à partir de janvier 2027 pour une durée minimale de 4 mois (6 mois c’est encore mieux !)
• Nous recherchons avant tout une personne souriante, dynamique et avide d'apprendre.
• Des compétences administratives et/ou commerciales sont un gros plus.
