ITProposal seeks a Medior PLC & Automation Engineer for onsite work in Dessel, Belgium. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of industrial installations using Siemens PLCs, SCADA, and process control systems.

A strong problem-solving mindset and safety consciousness are essential for delivery in a highly regulated environment. The candidate will design PLC controls, analyse faults, and collaborate with project teams while documenting technical work and ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
Several years of PLC/Automation/Instrumentation experience.
Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs.
Knowledge of SCADA systems.
Experience in industrial automation and process control.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and documentation.

Responsabilités

Plan, execute, and follow up on complex maintenance activities.
Perform and coordinate major maintenance tasks.
Support and execute projects within automation and instrumentation.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve faults, alarms, and disturbances.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and logbooks.
Create and update P&IDs, electrical schematics, and process control docs.
Design and implement PLC controls, installation modifications, and automation solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
