A data solutions company in Belgium is seeking a Medior Fabric Data Engineer to build and deploy scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. In this role, you will work on impactful projects across various sectors, ensuring compliance and security standards. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in data engineering, is proficient in SQL and Python, and is fluent in Dutch and/or French and English. This position offers a vibrant work culture, autonomy, and a flexible hybrid work environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles.

• Contribute to full project lifecycles, from requirements and architecture to implementation and deployment.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement scalable data solutions in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric
• Contribute to full project lifecycles, from requirements and architecture to implementation and deployment
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, and compliance
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data projects

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience as a data engineer
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles
• Skilled in SQL and Python
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
• Experience with dbt is a plus
• This role is also open to freelance consultants
