Vivid Resourcing in Brussels seeks a freelance Compliance Analyst to autonomously handle alerts from monitoring and screening tools, investigate cases, and assess non-compliance risks. The role requires AML/KYC knowledge, strong writing, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree and have experience in operational compliance, with fluent French and English; Dutch is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (law, economics, finance or equivalent field)
• Experience in operational compliance / financial security
• Solid knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions, PEP and Fraud regulations
• Ability to handle autonomously the majority of cases, including complex cases
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with clear and structured writing abilities
• Critical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and formulate relevant hypotheses
• Ease in understanding and applying written procedures and policies
• Willingness to contribute to internal awareness (support to colleagues, answering business questions)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with diplomacy and assertiveness when required
• Ability to take initiatives and propose concrete improvements
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
• Team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and results-oriented mindset
• Ability to use Netreveal software

Responsabilités

• Autonomous handling of the majority of alerts generated by monitoring and screening tools.
• Conducting in-depth investigations and drafting clear, structured and well-reasoned analyses.
• Identification, documentation and assessment of non-compliance risks.
• Strict application of internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribution to the update and improvement of procedures and operational guidelines
