Overview
To support the EU Agency’s Communications Team in strengthening media outreach and visibility in the lead-up to a major stakeholder event.
Responsibilities
- Media Mapping: Identify and compile a list of relevant media contacts, including general and specialized outlets, to support upcoming communication activities. KPI: A list of 10 general and 10 specialized media contacts completed by the end of 2025.
- Media Engagement: Liaise with identified journalists to raise awareness of the EU Agency’s activities and invite them to participate in the upcoming stakeholder event. KPI: Short digital materials prepared for media outreach, in coordination with the Agency’s contractors and communications team.
- Media Plan Update: Review and update the EU Agency’s internal media plan to reflect current priorities and activities. KPI: Draft updated media plan shared by the end of 2025.
Work Conditions
- The position is part-time (20 working days total for 2025 and 55 days for the first half of 2026).
- Work to be carried out remotely, using the contractor’s own equipment.
- The EU Agency will provide necessary documentation, contacts, and guidance.
- Regular coordination meetings (online or in person) with the Communications Team will be scheduled.
- No overtime or work outside regular working hours is foreseen.
