Job summary

SII Group Belgium is seeking a System Engineer with a focus on simulation and algorithm development to join a dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to the design, development and integration of advanced systems used in civilian and military environments, working closely with clients to define solutions and ensure successful implementation.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 3–5 years of professional experience, with strong proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python and Git.

• 3–5 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze client needs to propose tailored technical solutions.
• Contribute to the system architecture definition and ensure it meets customer requirements.
• Evaluate algorithm performance through analytical techniques and simulations.
• Conduct validation and verification activities for new and updated algorithm designs.
• Support integration of algorithms into hardware platforms via code generation and HIL testing.
• Optimize auto-generated C code and collaborate with embedded systems teams for seamless integration.
• Contribute to field trials and analyze flight test data for performance assessment.
• Model physical behaviors of novel concepts and perform simulations to guide development.
