Ciner Glass Belgium is seeking a Mechanical Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of our production installations in Lommel, Belgium. You perform preventive and corrective maintenance and participate in continuous improvement initiatives on mechanical systems.

Training begins with a general technical program, followed by role-specific training; after training you transition into a 6-shift system or a day shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow technical work instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for machines and installations.

• Perform preventive, corrective and curative mechanical maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair machines and installations
• Coordinate maintenance activities requiring production downtime
• Assemble, disassemble, overhaul and modify equipment
• Read, follow and create technical work instructions
• Prepare and review technical tasks and projects
• Monitor calibration of measuring equipment
• Register and document maintenance activities and ensure proper handover
• Work with machine controls and systems according to procedures
• Share knowledge and support colleagues
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency projects

As a Mechanical Technician at Ciner Glass Belgium, you ensure the safe and reliable operation of our production installations. You perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You start with a general technical training program to become familiar with our installations and production process, followed by role-specific training. After training, you move into a 6-shift system or day shift.
