DEME Group seeks a Design & System Integration Engineer to own multidisciplinary projects with a strong mechanical focus. You translate functional requirements into concepts, coordinate electrical, hydraulic and control inputs, and guide external partners from basic design to commissioning.

You will work from our Headquarters in Zwijndrecht, Belgium, with occasional travel to suppliers and vessel sites. You will lead the design and delivery of mission equipment, engage with stakeholders to

Qualifications

Master's degree requested; multiple engineering disciplines coordination.
3–5 years of relevant experience in project/lead engineering roles.
Ability to develop concepts at functional/basic design level and manage external partners.
Strong communication, structured approach and decision-making for safe, practical, buildable solutions.

Responsabilités

Lead design and delivery of mission equipment from request through commissioning and first operations.
Coordinate input from mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control disciplines to deliver a coherent solution.
Review external design work for technical quality and feasibility, ensuring alignment with requirements.
Set up project approach, identify partners, and manage execution across interfaces and suppliers.
Prepare test/commissioning plans and support initial operations to validate performance.
