Holcim Belgium, based in Obourg, seeks a Mechanical Supervisor for the GO4ZERO project to lead on-site mechanical operations and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

You will oversee commissioning, supervise the kiln package systems, and coordinate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical components into the project efficiently.

Fluent English is required; French or Chinese is an asset. Consultancy/freelance collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical supervision experience in cement/metallurgy/mining/quarrying.
• Deep knowledge of rotary equipment, shaft alignment, gearbox auditing, bearings, lubrication, piping, welding, steel structures.

Responsabilités

• Manage on-site mechanical operations with strict zero-accident target and environmental compliance.
• Validate supplier designs, oversee drawings, and procurement during study phase (5%).
• Lead cold and hot commissioning and performance tests (95%).
• Supervise installation and maintenance of kiln package systems (kiln line, filters, RTO, VRM, etc.).
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to manage technical documentation and information flow.
