Job summary

Ball Beverage Packaging Belgium in Genk, Belgium, is seeking a senior operations leader to head the plant mechanical team. You will drive maintenance and process activities for high-speed can lines, manage the Toolroom, Utility, Workshop, and Process Engineers, and ensure smooth plant operation.

You will lead operational excellence programs, size-change initiatives, and capital projects, while championing mechanical safety, lean events, energy saving, and the Energy Improvement Program (EIP).

Position summary:

You are responsible for leading the plant mechanical team (Shift Mechanical Engineers, Toolroom, Utility team, Workshop Team, Process Engineers) in all the maintenance and process activities in the plant to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of high speed can making Lines and ancillaries. You will be the key person driving operational excellence programs and size changes in the plant, and also be responsible for all the mechanical safety, lean events, capital projects, energy saving, and EIP.
