Optimus Search is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a 12-month freelance assignment in the Antwerp region. The role focuses on design, modeling and development of mechanical components and assemblies, using PTC CREO for 3D modeling, with cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and procurement.

Dutch speaking is essential. You will ensure designs meet specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations, from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design in industrial/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• 3D modeling and drafting experience with CREO.

Responsabilités

• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CREO.
• Develop mechanical designs from concept through to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, procurement).
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
