ScioTeq in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced defense display and console solutions. You will join a multidisciplinary team, driving mechanical design from concept to implementation in a high-tech environment.

You will collaborate with electronics engineers, production teams and suppliers, applying knowledge of materials and manufacturability to deliver robust, reliable designs and support prototype testing and integration with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficient with parametric CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric 8.0+.
• Understanding of manufacturability and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of thermal and structural simulations is a strong asset.
• Experience with PLM systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain mechanical concepts and CAD designs with Creo Parametric.
• Translate requirements into practical, reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with electronics, production, project management and suppliers.
• Apply materials, manufacturing methods and engineering principles for robust designs.
• Support integration of existing technologies and adapt concepts to new applications.
• Contribute to solving design, assembly, manufacturability and quality challenges.
• Support prototype development and testing activities.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
