ScioTeq bv in Kortrijk, Belgium, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of defense display and console solutions. You will develop concepts and CAD models, translating requirements into robust, manufacturable designs while collaborating with electronics, production and project teams.

You will contribute to problem-solving across design, prototyping and testing, ensuring quality and alignment with customer expectations. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficient in parametric CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric 8.0+.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain mechanical concepts and CAD designs using Creo Parametric.
• Translate customer and product requirements into practical, reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with electronics engineers, production teams, project managers and suppliers.
• Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods and engineering principles to create robust designs.
• Support integration of existing technologies and adapt concepts to new applications.
• Contribute to solving design, assembly, manufacturability and quality challenges.
• Support prototype development and testing activities.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
