ScioTeq Ltd in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our defense-focused team. You will contribute to the mechanical design of advanced defense displays and consoles, translating customer requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions while collaborating with electronics, production, and project management.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, applying Creo Parametric and simulations to ensure quality and drive reliable, cost-effective products.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Knowledge of Creo Parametric 8.0+ and CAD-based design.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Experience with thermal and structural simulations is a plus.
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as Windchill is a plus.
• Analytical, proactive and team-oriented working style.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain mechanical concepts and CAD designs using Creo Parametric.
• Translate requirements into practical, reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with electronics engineers, production, PMs and suppliers.
• Apply materials, manufacturing methods and design for manufacturability principles.
• Support integration of existing technologies and adapt concepts to new applications.
• Contribute to solving design, assembly, manufacturability and quality challenges.
• Support prototype development and testing activities.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
