Job summary

TDW is seeking aMechanical Engineer in Belgium (Nivelles) to design and develop innovative mechanical components and systems. You will apply 3D CAD, GD&T and tolerance analysis, perform calculations and contribute to robust documentation.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive prototype builds, test plans and validation activities from concept to completion, ensuring design for manufacturability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering is required.
• First experience in mechanical engineering is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, tolerance analysis and GD&T.
• Experience with FEA and DFMEA.
• Experience using FEA tools such as ANSYS or similar.
• Experience with solid modeling software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and machine design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA, Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with PLM systems and engineering change processes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
