Expleo Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Brussels to innovate and craft cutting-edge mechanical systems using advanced CAD tools. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot mechanical defects.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and craft cutting‑edge mechanical systems, components, and assemblies utilizing advanced computer‑aided design (CAD) tools and state‑of‑the‑art engineering software.
• Engage with diverse cross‑functional teams, encompassing electrical, software, and systems engineers, to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems for optimal performance.
• Perform testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure quality and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Pioneer innovative solutions by troubleshooting and resolving mechanical defects, conducting in‑depth root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Craft and meticulously review technical documents such as design specifications, test reports, and product manuals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Drive innovation through active participation in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining engineering processes and enhancing tools for superior performance.
• Remain abreast of cutting‑edge industry trends and breakthroughs in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in supporting manufacturing or design processes.
• Possess exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer‑aided design (CAD) and various engineering software.
• Familiarity with CATIA or CREO software is preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent French plus either English or Dutch.
