Vivid Resourcing seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join its East Flanders team, working on bespoke machinery and equipment for diverse industrial applications from concept through prototyping to manufacturing support.

You will design robust, cost-effective machine solutions using 3D CAD, collaborating with electrical, software and production engineers to realize complete systems and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience designing machinery, special-purpose equipment or industrial mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks. Experience with Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge, CATIA or similar 3D CAD software is equally welcome.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical components, assemblies and complete machine systems using SolidWorks (or an equivalent 3D CAD package).
• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, bills of materials and technical documentation.
• Design practical, manufacturable solutions with consideration for performance, reliability, cost and ease of assembly.
• Support prototype builds, testing and product validation activities.
• Work closely with electrical, software and production teams to develop complete machine solutions.
• Identify and implement design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teams regarding components, fabrication methods and production requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and safety requirements.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER - EAST FLANDERS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION

We're currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team developing bespoke machinery and mechanical equipment for a variety of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects where you'll be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from initial concepts and detailed mechanical design through to prototyping, testing and manufacturing support.

You'll play a key role in designing robust, practical and cost-effective machine solutions using 3D CAD software, working closely with electrical, software and production engineers to bring complete systems to life. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, has a strong understanding of machine design, and wants to see their ideas progress from the drawing board into finished products.

While the primary focus is on mechanical design, experience with mechatronic systems such as motors, sensors, actuators and pneumatics would be highly beneficial, allowing you to contribute to the development of integrated electromechanical solutions.
