The role focuses on translating demanding motion requirements into manufacturable mechanical designs for compact, high-performance actuators used in robotics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the design and development of robotic systems, actuators, or precision motion systems.
• Proficient with Siemens NX, Teamcenter PDM or similar CAD/PDM tools.
• Ability to translate payload, speed, torque, force, power, accuracy and duty cycle into mechanical design requirements.
• Fluent in English; existing work authorization in Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for robotic systems, from concept through prototype and production.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
• Perform and support mechanical calculations and design verification for performance, reliability and durability.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors on components, tolerances, materials, and specifications.
• Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous design improvement.
