Donaldson is seeking a Mechanical CAD Engineer to develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for global product development.

You will independently execute design assignments of moderate complexity, interpret requirements, apply drafting standards, and support prototype builds. Collaborate with Design, Application, Manufacturing, and Quality teams and ensure dimensional accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or related.
• 3–6 years CAD design experience in manufacturing/product development.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems (Creo/NX/SolidWorks/Solid Edge).
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of sheet metal, molding, castings, machined components.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems such as Creo, NX, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of sheet metal, injection molding, castings, machined components, and assemblies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with filtration products, mobile equipment, automotive, or industrial products.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and engineering change management.
• Exposure to prototype development and product validation processes.
• Experience working in a global engineering environment.
