Puratos Belgium is seeking a Material Planner for our Groot-Bijgaarden site. You will translate production needs into a reliable material supply plan, build supplier partnerships, monitor inventory, and use data to drive improvements across procurement and production teams.

You will collaborate with Quality, Warehouse and Operations, supporting new launches and continuous improvement. A permanent contract and strong benefits accompany the role in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Management or Procurement.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Fluent in English and Dutch. A good basic knowledge of French.

As a Material Planner at our Groot-Bijgaarden site, you play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of raw materials for our production activities. Thanks to your analytical mindset and proactive approach, the right materials are available at the right time, allowing us to deliver the quality and service our customers expect.

Key accountabilities

As a Material Planner, you are a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our operations. Your mission is simple but essential: making sure the right materials are available at the right time, enabling our production teams to deliver excellence to our customers every day.

In this role:

• You translate production needs and forecasts into a reliable and efficient material supply plan.
• You build strong partnerships with suppliers and closely monitor deliveries to proactively address potential supply issues.
• You keep a close eye on inventory levels, balancing service, cost efficiency and operational resilience.
• You use data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risks and continuously improve planning performance.
• You collaborate daily with Procurement, Production Planning, Quality, Warehouse and Operations teams to keep our supply chain running smoothly.
• You support new product launches by ensuring the timely availability of new raw materials.
• You take ownership, challenge the status quo and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Who are we looking for ?
