Our Team:
In the Material Life Cycle management team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to temporarily strengthen our team. The role requires a good mix of interests and qualities and also provides a good mix of challenges and areas of development on an organizational, technical and social level, among other things.
Main responsibilities:
- Core business - Onboarding of new materials and services and their maintenance. Compliance check of changes that are implemented at the suppliers.
- Compliance - Research and alignment of local procedures against internal and external standards. Addressing any gaps and working out how we can meet the quality standards as efficiently as possible and follow up on these actions in a change control.
- Business continuity - Ensuring production planning by having sufficient alternatives available in a timely manner in the event of supply issues. Assisting the team in the new way of work by migrating documents into newly developed templates.
- Cost management - Identify large cost items (direct and indirect) and make proposals to reduce costs without impacting quality or supply.
- Operational Excellence - Setting up and optimizing processes, data and systems run via Excel and Power BI. Support to the team's Continuous Improvement goals.
- Supporting projects a.o. Transfer Out.
It is a position in day shift, presence at the site in Geel is a requirement.
The ideal candidate:
- Is proactive, works independently and on a project basis, picks up new and complex material quickly and maintains an overview thanks to a tight schedule and a systematic approach.
- Shows initiative and is very strong in communication, communicates clearly and spontaneously with both internal departments and external parties (suppliers).
- Is not afraid of a dynamic work schedule and can respond well to ad-hoc requests.
- Background and affinity with the technical aspects of processes and materials at a pharmaceutical production site.
- Knowledge of GMP, strong affinity with (Sanofi) quality systems.
- Can estimate which aspects of materials and services are critical and can provide a clear overview of this based on (limited) available data to convince all stakeholders to use this material and/or service or not.
- Has intrinsic motivation and interest to work on projects with interfaces in R&D, MSAT, QC, MFG, SC and OPEX.
- Has a thorough knowledge of Excel & can get started with it easily, the candidate also has knowledge of working with Power BI
