ENTSO‑E is seeking a Market Design Senior Specialist to lead and coordinate market design activities, working with TSOs, regulators and stakeholders across Europe. The role focuses on capacity mechanisms, flexibility and RES integration, with occasional travel and a Brussels-based Secretariat.
You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, prepare papers and material for decision-making, and support daily Market & Operations activities within a multinational, multicultural organization.
ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

Job Description
As a Market Design Senior Specialist, you will lead and coordinate ENTSO-E activities on market design, while supporting broader market & operations work including offshore, flexibility and demand response.
You will play a key role in supporting European market design initiatives related to capacity mechanisms, flexibility, renewable energy integration, sector integration, offshore market design, congestion management and locational signals. A key dimension of the role is the ability to work effectively in a complex multi-stakeholder environment, facilitating technical discussions and building alignment among TSOs.
You will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels, collaborating closely with internal teams, TSOs and external stakeholders. Occasional travel may be required.
