An international shipping company is looking for a Marine Superintendent in Antwerp to manage the day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations. The role involves overseeing HSEQ aspects, providing technical expertise, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Nautical Sciences, at least 3 years of management experience, and fluency in English. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a management position on board.
• Ability to prevent and correct observations made by third parties.
• You must be flexible with regards to travelling.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with Safety Management System (SMS) and industry regulations.
• Lead operational people management for HSEQ KPIs.
• Drive compliance and continuous improvement within the fleet.

Connaissances

Expertise in Marine & Labor HSEQ

Knowledge of cargo operations

Familiarity with IMO regulations

Proficiency in mooring operations

Ability to manage audits and certifications

Fluent in English

Formation

Master’s degree in Nautical Sciences
