Airswift is seeking a Marine Coordinator in Ostend, Belgium for a 1-year assignment. The role supports offshore grid connection projects, coordinating marine and island operations and handling data administration using Offshare.

You will manage vessel movements, personnel logistics, permits, and documentation while maintaining clear communication with contractors and internal teams, in a structured, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, logistics, maritime or operational coordination environment.
• Exposure to offshore project operations or comparable operational planning activities.

Responsabilités

• Support daily marine and island coordination activities across offshore and island operations.
• Maintain and update operational data within the Offshare coordination software system.
• Ensure vessel and personnel registrations are entered accurately and kept up to date.
• Monitor information received from contractors and check submitted documentation for completeness.
• Support planning and coordination of vessel movements and personnel transfers to offshore project sites.
• Assist with administration of permits, access, and vessel approvals.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action logs.
• Escalate inconsistencies, deviations, or operational concerns to the coordination team.
• Ensure accurate and timely administration of operational information within coordination software.
• Provide support for the yard in Ostend when required.

This opportunity supports a major offshore high-voltage grid connection project in the North Sea. The role sits within marine and island coordination, providing operational support across vessel movements, personnel logistics, reporting, and data administration through Offshare.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily marine and island coordination activities across offshore and island operations.


• Maintain and update operational data within the Offshare coordination software system.


• Ensure vessel and personnel registrations are entered accurately and kept up to date.


• Monitor information received from contractors and check submitted documentation for completeness.


• Support planning and coordination of vessel movements and personnel transfers to and from offshore project sites.


• Assist with administration of permits, access, and vessel approvals.


• Participate in daily coordination meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action logs.


• Escalate inconsistencies, deviations, or operational concerns to the coordination team.


• Ensure accurate and timely administration of operational information within the coordination platform.


• Provide support for the yard in Ostend when required.
