MSIG Europe in Antwerp is seeking a Claims Handler to manage insurance claims from first notification to settlement in a marine, cargo or related context. You will review policy terms, liaise with customers and brokers, and work with the team to resolve complex claims while maintaining accurate records.

• Handle insurance claims from notification through settlement.
• Review policy coverage, liability and damages in line with terms and guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers, brokers, experts and stakeholders.
• Manage your portfolio of claims with accurate documentation.
• Support resolution of complex claims with team knowledge.
• Analyse circumstances, identify issues affecting outcomes and escales where appropriate.
• Apply sound judgment on coverage, liability, damages and settlement options.
• Collaborate with colleagues to find practical and fair solutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation of decisions.
