SecWise is seeking a Team Lead Cyber Security Consulting to co-lead the Consulting Tribe and own the strategic direction of its cybersecurity consulting practice. You will blend leadership, business development and cybersecurity expertise to influence customer outcomes and drive growth.

In this highly visible role you will mentor consultants, shape engagements, and collaborate with Managing Partners to evolve the service portfolio while balancing travel in Belgium and a strong hybrid office

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• 3+ years in a senior consulting, advisory, or leadership role.
• Experience advising executive stakeholders and translating business objectives into cybersecurity strategies.
• Broad expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains (Data & AI Security, IAM, Platform Security, App Security, Threat Detection, GRC).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus.

• Own the quality of consulting engagements from presales and scoping through delivery and executive reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Support strategic customer engagements, complex transformation programs, and executive escalations.
• Drive the evolution of SecWise's cybersecurity consulting portfolio and service offerings.
• Define methodologies, frameworks, and go-to-market approaches with Managing Partners and technical experts.
• Promote a modern cloud-native security vision across identities, applications, data, AI workloads, and platforms.
• Co-lead tribe operations, including recruitment, capacity planning, utilization, performance management, and team objectives.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to grow the consulting business.
• Represent SecWise in executive steering committees, workshops, and customer briefings.

SecWise is a fast-growing Belgian cybersecurity scale-up helping organizations strengthen their cyber resilience. Our Consulting Tribe combines expertise across the full cybersecurity landscape, including:

The tribe is jointly led by two Co-Tribe Leads. This role is not a senior consultant position with a few management responsibilities attached. You will co-lead the tribe with a genuine mandate, owning strategic decisions, people development, and the future direction of our consulting practice alongside the Managing Partners.

As Team Lead Cyber Security Consulting, you will take ownership of the quality, growth, and strategic direction of SecWise's cybersecurity consulting practice. Combining leadership, business development, and cybersecurity expertise, you will help shape both customer outcomes and the future of SecWise.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in a senior consulting, advisory, or leadership role
• Proven experience advising executive stakeholders and translating business objectives into cybersecurity strategies
• Broad expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains, such as Data & AI Security, Identity & Access Management, Platform Security, Application Security, Threat Detection & Protection, and Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Strong understanding of modern cloud-native security architectures and operating models
• Comfortable engaging with both executive and technical audiences
• A people-focused leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing talent
• Commercially minded, with a strong ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers
• Pragmatic and results-oriented, focused on tangible outcomes
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus
• Experience with frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, CIS Controls, and NIST CSF is a plus
• Experience within a cybersecurity consulting, professional services, or advisory environment is a plus

This is a highly visible leadership role that combines customer engagement, tribe leadership, and business growth. You'll work closely with customers, consultants, architects, and Managing Partners to shape the future of SecWise's cybersecurity consulting practice. While the role includes some travel within Belgium depending on customer engagements, you'll primarily work in a hybrid setup with a strong presence in our office alongside a young, driven, and highly skilled team.
