ACCA Careers is assisting a leading international insurer in Belgium to recruit a Manager Accounts Payable & Treasury for their Brussels office. The role leads AP and Treasury teams, drives process improvement, and partners with Finance for robust controls and compliance.

The candidate will manage recruitment and performance, optimize workflows, and ensure accurate invoice and bank transaction processing, with a focus on internal controls and stakeholder collaboration across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• Relevant experience within Accounts Payable and Treasury.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with SAP FI and financial systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Good understanding of compliance, tax and internal controls.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Proven experience in people management and coaching.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, hands-on and improvement-driven.
• Team player with a high sense of ownership.
