Actief Interim Leuven zoekt een ervaren Accounts Payable Manager om het AP-team aan te sturen in Heverlee. U coördineert factuurverwerking, betalingen en maandafsluitingen en optimaliseert processen.

De rol vereist ruime SAP-kennis ( SAP S/4HANA is een plus), detailgerichtheid en sterke communicatie met stakeholders. U leidt een internationaal team en draagt bij aan naleving van btw en accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Enkele jaren ervaring in Accounts Payable binnen een multinational of complexe organisatie.
• Sterke SAP-kennis; ervaring met SAP S/4HANA is een plus.
• Goede kennis van btw en boekhoudkundige regelgeving.
• Aantoonbare ervaring in leiden en ontwikkelen van teams.
• Analytisch, gestructureerd en oog voor detail. Sterke communicatie- en stakeholdermanagementvaardigheden.
• Vloeiend in het Engels (schriftelijk en mondeling).
• Interesse in procesoptimalisatie, automatisering en digitale financiële oplossingen.

Responsabilités

• Leiden, coachen en ontwikkelen van het Accounts Payable-team.
• Toezicht houden op het end-to-end Accounts Payable-proces, met nadruk op nauwkeurigheid, naleving en tijdige uitvoering.
• Coördineren van factuurverwerking, betalingsruns en AP-gerelateerde financiële controles.
• Beheren van maandafsluitingen, reconciliaties, provisies en opvolging van openstaande posten.
• Zorg dragen voor naleving van btw, fiscaliteit en interne boekhoudingsbeleid.
• Fungeer als primair aanspreekpunt voor AP-gerelateerde zaken voor meerdere belanghebbenden.
• Identificeren en implementeren van procesverbeteringen, standaardisatie-initiatieven en automatiseringsmogelijkheden.

For our client, an international organization in Heverlee , we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team. In this key role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintain compliance with accounting and tax regulations and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Payable team.


• Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.


• Coordinate invoice processing, payment runs, and AP-related financial controls.


• Manage monthly closing activities, reconciliations, accruals, and follow-up of outstanding items.


• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and internal accounting policies.


• Act as the main point of contact for AP-related matters across multiple stakeholders.


• Identify and implement process improvements, standardization initiatives, and automation opportunities.

Profiel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent through experience.


• Several years of experience in Accounts Payable within a multinational or complex organization.


• Strong SAP knowledge; experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.


• Solid understanding of VAT and accounting regulations.


• Proven experience leading and developing teams.


• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.


• Interest in process optimization, automation, and digital finance solutions.
