Job summary

PROMAN Jobs Oudenaarde is seeking a maintenance operator to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines. You will diagnose faults, solve them or report to your supervisor and provide technical support to operators.

You will assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and contribute to improvements in installations, methodologies, and safety compliance on site.

Job description

As a maintenance operator, you are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines. You detect technical faults, solve them independently or report them to your supervisor. You provide technical support to production teams and actively contribute to improvements in installations and working methods. You will also assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines.

Your tasks include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations
• Resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns to ensure smooth production
• Providing technical support to operators
• Assisting with new installations (setup, adjustment, parameter settings)
• Proposing improvements to maintenance procedures and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• The main focus is on mechanics (pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, bearings, compressors, heavy mechanics), with basic knowledge of electricity.
