Job summary

VF Sint-Niklaas is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the good condition of all warehouse installations and to oversee maintenance of automated systems in a fast-paced production environment. You will address electrical and mechanical malfunctions, report to the Maintenance Manager, and lead technicians on your shift.

You will specialize in PLC controls (S7, PCS7, TIA Portal) and contribute to process improvements, start-ups and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or automation (required).
At least 7 years of experience in a maintenance department of an automated company.
Good knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls.
Knowledge of PCS7, TIA Portal, Siemens S7 and S7 Graph.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Fluent in English.
Strong PC skills (Mail, Office, etc.).
Able to work safely and at heights (max ~25 meters).
Willingness to work in shifts (Mon-Thu 6h-14h / 14h-22h; Fri 6h-13h / 13h-20h).

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repairs of warehouse installations (Mini load, conveyors, erectors, winding machines, inline printers).
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting using plans/Diagrams; contribute to installations improvement and PLC control optimization; participate in start-up of installations.
