Vans in Belgium seeks a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of our automated warehouse installations. You will lead a shift of technicians, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical systems, and optimize controls to improve processes and operator comfort.

You will base work on plans, diagrams and manufacturer documents, coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, and contribute to safety and environmental initiatives. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or automation.
• 7+ years in a maintenance department of an automated company.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls.
• Familiar with PCS7, Tia Portal, Siemens S7, S7 Graph.
• Fluent in English and strong analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair installations in the warehouse, including conveyors and automated lines.
• Lead a shift team of technicians and machine operators to complete work on time.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support start-up of new installations and upgrades, including PLC controls and drives.
• Keep inventory and provide ordering recommendations.
