Imerys in Willebroek is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to improve the site's reliability and advance maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive and RCM). You translate data analyses into concrete improvements that enhance safety, quality and efficiency.

You will act as a technical lead on projects from concept to handover, manage costs and planning, and collaborate with operations, engineering and procurement to optimize parts lifecycle and service contracts.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in electromechanics, automation or process technology.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability or engineering in a production environment.
• Knowledge of SAP PM/CMMS and techniques like RCM, FMEA.

Responsabilidades

• Strategy & innovation: develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM).
• Technical project leadership: develop improvement proposals and manage implementation from A to Z.
• Purchase and contract management: advise on spare parts lifecycle and service contracts.
• Act as technical expert and bridge between shop floor, management and engineering during investments.

Imerys ontgint, bewerkt en ontwikkelt een uniek gamma industriële mineralen. Jouw rol: de motor achter betrouwbaarheid Als Maintenance Engineer ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de optimalisatie van onze onderhoudsprocessen. Je vertaalt data-analyse naar concrete verbeteringen die onze veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiëntie garanderen. Dit zijn je belangrijkste taken:

Responsibilities

• Strategie & innovatie: je bent verantwoordelijk voor het creëren en continu verbeteren van onze onderhoudsstrategieën (preventief, predictief en RCM). Je voert grondige analyses van storingen uit om de Root Cause aan te pakken.
• Technisch projectleider: je werkt verbetervoorstellen uit en beheert de implementatie van A tot Z. Dit omvat kostenschattingen, planning en de correcte technische overdracht naar de uitvoeringsteams.
• Aankoop en contractbeheer: je geeft strategisch technisch advies over het beheer van wisselstukken en de levenscyclus van onze installaties. Je adviseert de aankoopafdeling bij het afsluiten van de beste onderhouds- en servicecontracten.
• Sleutelfiguur: je fungeert als technische expert en de brug tussen de werkvloer, het management en de engineering afdeling (bij investeringsprojecten).

Wie zoeken wij?

Wij zoeken een analytisch sterke ingenieur of bachelor met een diepgaande passie voor het optimaliseren van industriële processen. Je hebt een Bachelor of Master diploma (bij voorkeur in elektromechanica, automatisatie of procestechnologie). Je hebt reeds relevante ervaring in een maintenance, reliability of engineering rol binnen een productie-omgeving. Je bent hands‑on ingesteld en combineert deze mentaliteit met een sterke analytische blik ("Processen verbeteren is je tweede natuur"). Kennis van onderhoudssystemen (bv. SAP PM/CMMS) en technieken (RCM, FMEA) is een grote plus. Je hecht belang aan een veilige en duurzame werkomgeving en draagt hier actief aan bij.
