COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support multiple retail sites across Belgium. The role focuses on upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and building services within a dynamic facilities management environment.

Candidate should be multi-skilled with building services knowledge and hold a recognized trade qualification. A full, clean driving licence is required as travel between sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FM or retail maintenance.
• Trade qualification preferred (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
• Full, clean driving licence (travel between sites).
• Self-motivated, reliable and customer-focused.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across retail sites.
• Diagnose and fix building service faults efficiently and safely.
• Support store teams in maintaining a safe, functional and compliant environment.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic facilities management company? We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our clients’ growing business, supporting multiple retail sites across the region.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and building services across several retail locations. The role requires flexibility, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across retail sites
• Diagnose and fix building service faults efficiently and safely
• Support store teams in maintaining a safe, functional, and compliant environment
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers where necessary
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role within the FM or retail sector
• Multi-skilled with knowledge of general building, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Recognized trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) preferred
• Full, clean driving licence (role involves travel between sites)
• Self-motivated, reliable, and customer-focused

Hours: Full-time, 5 days out of 7 - some flexibility required for reactive work and the ability to cover and on-call rota.
