Job summary

Jobat is assisting a Luxembourg-based investment holding company in hiring an Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting for its holding and financing activities. You will maintain the general ledger, record daily transactions, and prepare period closings under Luxembourg GAAP, with IFRS reporting support.

Qualifications

Experience with holding and financing activities accounting.
Familiarity with IFRS reporting and Luxembourg GAAP is a plus.
Ability to liaise with auditors and external advisers.

Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger and record daily accounting transactions.
Account for investments, intercompany loans, interest, dividends and related transactions.
Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations.
Prepare periodic closings and annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP.
Contribute to IFRS reporting, including adjustments and supporting schedules.
Monitor cash movements, prepare payments and maintain cash flow forecasts.
Support tax compliance and VAT obligations with external advisers.
Liaise with auditors and maintain complete supporting documentation.
