BaanBuro is seeking a Supply Chain Officer in Tielt, Belgium. You will ensure smooth alignment between warehouse and transport, tracking shipments and stock while ensuring correct information flow across departments.

The role requires a bachelor in supply chain or logistics or equivalent by experience, plus initial relevant logistics/transport experience. You will analyze deviations, address problems, and contribute to process improvements using ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or logistics, or equivalent by experience.
• First relevant work experience in logistics or transport.
• Strong organizational ability and multi-priority management.
• Accurate, analytical and proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication with internal and external partners.
• Hands-on and willing to adapt as needed.
• Digital savvy with interest in systems and process optimization.
• Experience with ERP and WMS is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Follow shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor stock accuracy and support order picking and inventory activities.
• Assist daily transport planning.
• Communicate with drivers and carriers and handle questions/changes.
• Process and verify transport documents.
• Identify and follow up on deviations such as delays, damages or missing deliveries.
• Ensure smooth information flow between warehouse, transport and other departments.
• Contribute to improvements in efficiency, quality and safety.
• Participate in process improvements and projects around WMS and ERP systems.
• Act as back-up for the transport planner and logistics officer.
