Job summary

Bontexgeo in Belgium is seeking a warehouse operative to support loading/unloading, ensure safe handling of goods, and manage stock movements. You will check delivery documents, secure shipments, and maintain orderly storage of rolls and pallets.

Responsibilities include verifying return pallets, labeling for shipment, and monitoring correct stock locations, with a forklift certificate often required. A proactive, careful approach and flexibility for shifts are essential.

Responsibilities

• You welcome the transporters and check their delivery or loading documents.
• Unload trucks and verify safe unloading and any goods defects.
• Load trucks and ensure shipments are properly secured before departure.
• Sort customer return pallets and/or tubes and check return documents.
• Ensure rolls have shipping labels so orders are ready for shipment.
• Store and move rolls/pallets in racks.
• Monitor correct storage locations and identify irregularities.
• Record stock movements and maintain the received stock list.
