A data center services provider in Liege, Belgium is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for contract work. This on-site role involves supporting critical infrastructure, performing hardware installations, and executing structured cabling. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in data center environments, possess strong cabling skills, and have professional communication abilities in English. Applicants must also have their own transportation and be able to lift over 50 lbs. The compensation ranges from €21 to €29 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.

Connaissances

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a)

Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills in English

Formation

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS)

Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
