A technology infrastructure company is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team in Machelen, Belgium. This full-time, on-site position involves supporting critical infrastructure at top-tier data center facilities. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and network equipment, along with troubleshooting and documentation. Candidates should have at least 3 years of data center operations experience and relevant certifications. A competitive salary between €45,000-€59,000 is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Experience with DCIM platforms is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.

Connaissances

Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Formation

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE)

Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco)

Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA)
