A leading technology firm in Gembloux is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance work. This on-site position involves supporting mission-critical infrastructure and includes responsibilities such as hardware installations, server racking, and troubleshooting. Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of experience in data centers and must communicate effectively in English. Strong cabling skills and relevant certifications are preferred. Competitive pay of €21-29/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations and migrations.
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Data center or IT infrastructure experience

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber)

Troubleshooting connectivity issues
