Job summary

Henkel is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to lead cross-border corporate and commercial matters across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France. You will draft and negotiate a broad range of contracts, manage corporate housekeeping, and support real estate and dispute resolution efforts.

Fluent English is required, along with strong French and Dutch skills. The role values innovation, collaboration, and strategic business partnership in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in corporate law and commercial contracts in cross-border or international contexts.
• Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in French and Dutch.
• Strong understanding of governance and contract law; translate complex issues into actionable advice.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements across Benelux and France.
• Manage corporate housekeeping matters in Benelux with external legal advisors.
• Provide legal support on real estate including lease, purchase and facility agreements.
• Contribute to dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
• Embrace legal tech and AI-driven legal tools and platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Corporate Communications, and external counsels.
• Be a strategic partner to the business with proactive legal guidance.

What you´ll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercialagreements in a B2B and B2C environment, across Benelux and France;
• Manage corporate housekeeping matters in Benelux, consultingwith external legal advisors;
• Provide legal support on real estate issues, includinglease, purchase and facility agreements;
• Contribute to dispute resolution and assist with riskmitigation strategies;
• Embrace legal innovation efforts, including AI-driven legaltools and digital legal platforms;
• Collaborate cross-functionally withdepartments like HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Corporate Communications, and work together with external counsels ifnecessary;
• Be a strategic partner to the business, offeringinitiative-taking and practical legal guidance.
