GOlegal is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support our legal delivery team in Brussels on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will produce and coordinate legal deliverables, design workstreams, and utilize modern tools to deliver efficient legal and compliance work.

You will also collaborate across product and delivery teams to improve our proprietary tools. This hands-on role offers real responsibility, growth opportunities, and mentorship from senior experts in a fast-moving legal-tech

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Belgian law is required.
• 2–4 years of work experience in a legal role.
• Fluency in English plus Dutch or French; strong detail orientation and ownership.

GOlegal is looking for one or more experienced Legal Counsel to support our legal delivery team. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, tech-enabled LegalOps startup that combines smart legal minds with cutting-edge tools to make law & compliance more agile, efficient, and scalable.

This is an experienced position, perfect for early-career profiles with some previous work experience in B2B legal service delivery positions who are curious, hands-on, and eager to build legal experience beyond the traditional path.

? Your role in a nutshell

You’ll work at the intersection of legal expertise, delivery operations, and legal tech.

As a Legal Counsel at GOlegal, you contribute directly to client projects by producing and coordinating legal deliverables, structuring workstreams, and using modern tools to deliver legal & compliance work efficiently and consistently. You won’t just “support cases” — you’ll be part of how they are designed, executed, and improved.

Alongside client work, you’ll actively collaborate with our product and delivery teams to test, refine, and improve our proprietary tools (Clawscan.ai & ABCD), ensuring they reflect real legal practice and client needs.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, clear structure, coaching, and room to grow — ideal for legal professionals who want to move beyond traditional firm workflows without leaving legal substance behind.

? What we’re looking for

Must-haves

• Master’s degree in Belgian Law
• Fluent in English + Dutch or French
• Prior work experience (2-4 years; law firm, legal team, or legal tech)
• Sharp eye for detail, structured thinking
• Strong sense of ownership and team spirit
• Willingness to learn, test, and grow in a fast-paced setting

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in legal tech, operations, or process optimization
• Familiarity with document automation or legal databases
