Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a senior functional analyst to join a multidisciplinary team modernising a large legacy application. You will analyse processes, validate migration outputs and translate business needs into user stories, building and maintaining the backlog.

This project runs December 2026 to December 2028 in Brussels, hybrid and 2/5 part-time. Freelance or employee, 6–10 years experience, Bachelor’s or higher, and fluency in Dutch, English and French.

Qualifications

• Expert-level skills in business and functional analysis.
• Expert-level knowledge of UML and BPMN.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Mendix development.
• Experience migrating applications, processes and data to new platforms.
• Expert-level process optimisation skills.
• Junior-level knowledge of AI in automated migration contexts.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and functionalities in the legacy application.
• Validate the output of the migration and modernisation work.
• Translate business needs into user stories.
• Build and maintain the product backlog.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain functional documentation.
