Job summary

Tailormade Logistics in Belgium is seeking a Transport Planner to oversee daily planning and follow-up of transports to France. You will coordinate groupage shipments and full truckloads, communicating with drivers, French-speaking partners, subcontractors, and the Customer Service team to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has a logistics degree or relevant experience, fluent Dutch and practical French and English communication skills, and a solution-oriented mindset to handle delays

Qualifications

• Education or experience: degree in logistics or equivalent transport experience.
• Language skills: fluent in Dutch and able to communicate in French and English.
• Skills: flexible, solution-oriented, able to stay calm under pressure.
• Puzzle-solving mindset: enjoy organising daily planning efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise groupage shipments and full truckloads to France.
• Communicate daily with drivers, French-speaking partners, subcontractors and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations.
• Anticipate delays and adjust operations when necessary (traffic jams, delays, urgent shipments).
• Ensure accurate administrative follow-up and up-to-date transport documents and systems.
