Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a battery simulation solver team. You will guide the development across agile releases, ensuring scalable MPI-parallel performance and high-quality features in collaborat ion with HPC, discretization, and meshing specialists.

You will work with product management, application experts, and QA engineers to align with real-world industrial needs, driving continuous improvement and customer value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a software development team using agile development processes.
• Hands-on experience developing CFD solvers in commercial or academic environments.
• High proficiency in C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams.
• Passion for numerical simulation and a drive to find creative solutions for challenging battery industry use cases with a focus on customer value.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of developers through the entire agile release process.
• Drive development of battery simulation methods, performance benchmarking, and code optimization in MPI-parallel environments.
• Collaborate with Simcenter HPC, pre/postprocessing, discretization, and meshing teams.
• Specify, implement, test, and document high-quality solver features.
• Partner with product management, application specialists, and QA to ensure solver meets industrial needs.
• Participate actively in stand-ups, reviews, and planning to maintain agility.
