Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a software development team using agile development processes.
• M.Sc. or equivalent in mechanical engineering, computational mechanics, computer science, or a comparable physics-based discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing CFD solvers in commercial or academic environments.
• High proficiency in C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams.
• Passion for numerical simulation and a drive to find creative solutions for challenging battery industry use cases with a focus on customer value.

Position Overview

The Simcenter STAR-CCM+ team is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead and guide the development of cutting-edge battery simulation solutions. You'll lead a team of talented developers through the entire agile release process while contributing directly to the evolution of industry-leading computational fluid dynamics technology. The salary range for this position is 78.700 to 141.700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
