Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a talented CFD Software Engineer to join our Simcenter STAR-CCM+ team. You will develop and enhance computational fluid dynamics software powering thermal and battery simulations for global manufacturers, collaborating with a skilled team to deliver robust features.

The role requires strong CFD background, C++ proficiency, and experience with version control and testing.

Qualifications

Strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or numerical simulation methods.
Proficiency in C++ or similar object-oriented programming languages.
Experience with software development practices, version control, and testing frameworks.
Solid understanding of thermal physics, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics principles.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilités

Develop and optimize CFD algorithms and numerical methods for thermal and battery simulation applications.
Design and implement software features that enhance simulation accuracy and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and validation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Participate in technical documentation and knowledge sharing with the broader engineering team.
Troubleshoot complex simulation issues and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
